Grace Shi (Treasurer)

Grace has been an integral part of the board for more than ten years. She is a partner at Triide, with extensive experience in consultancy. She holds an  MBA from Vlerick Business School.

Former Director of VISITFLANDERS in China (2007–2022) and the founder of Beijing Interlace Cultural Communication Company Limited. Xin Li has over 20 years of experience in international cooperation between East and West, with a focus on marketing and travel.

Thierry Delmarcelle

Chief Strategy Officer of Deloitte Asia Pacific.  Based in Beijing since 2002, Thierry has 30+ years of Strategy experience serving Chinese and European companies.  He has a Bachelor's in Engineering from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University.

Shasha Zhang

Shasha is an expert in China-Europe relations and communication, having studied both in China and the Netherlands. For over 15 years, she has helped to strengthen the relationship between China and Europe. She is Deputy Executive Director at the EU-China Joint Innovation Center. 

Tracy Zhang

Tracy is a country head for financial service tax advisory at KPMG China. She is also a board member of the KPMG China charity foundation, being an active part in the firm’s ESG activities.

Wouter Maes

Wouter is a partner at McKinsey & Company with deep experience as strategy consultant focused on Consumer and Travel sectors. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and Masters in Applied Economics from Ghent University.

Chi Zhang

Chi Zhang is Ghent University's Chief Representative in Beijing. He spent over 20 years in Belgium and previously worked for Belgian broadcaster VRT in Beijing. He was also the representative of the Province of East Flanders in China until 2023.

Chao Li

Li Chao is engaged in international trade in the dairy industry. Since 2005, he has been engaged in the trade of dairy products and infant formula with the Netherlands and Australia, and owns his own factory. He has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for seven years.
